How to Buy a Week at Pacific Grove Plaza
Two ways to become an owner, and a front desk team to help you find the right week.
There are two ways to become an owner at Pacific Grove Plaza: buy a week from an owner on our resale list, or take part in the resort's annual auction. Either way, the front desk can help you find the right suite and season.
Option 1
The resale list
Owners who want to sell their week add it to the resort's resale list. Buyers can request the current list from the front desk, then contact the selling owner directly to agree on terms.
The resort keeps the list as a service to owners and buyers, along with the resale cover letter, the resale process sheet and the resale authorization form, which apply whether you are buying or selling. The sale itself is completed through a title company.
Option 2
The annual auction
Each year, the resort offers owner intervals at auction. The 2026 auction has closed, and the next is planned for March 2027.
The auction is open to anyone, no deposit is required, and minimum bids are listed on the auction form.
Through a licensed broker
Some owners list their weeks with licensed timeshare resale brokers, such as RedWeek's full-service resales. In California, only licensed brokers may list and sell timeshares for resale on an owner's behalf.
Questions to ask before you buy
- What suite size and which season is the week?
- Is it every year or every other year?
- Are the yearly dues paid up to date?
- When is the week, and how is it reserved?
After you buy
A title company handles the sale through recording, and the resort needs a copy of the deed for its records. The resort's separate transfer service is used once a seller has a buyer. Once the sale is complete, the front desk welcomes you as an owner: how to reserve your week, pay dues online, and exchange or release your time.
