Timeshare Buyer FAQ: Pacific Grove Plaza
Clear answers to the questions buyers ask most.
What does ownership at Pacific Grove Plaza include?
A set amount of time at the resort each year in a one- or two-bedroom suite, in exchange for yearly dues. Ownership includes parking, Wi-Fi, linens and trash service; unit cleaning is extra.
How much are the yearly dues?
For 2026, $1,186 for a one-bedroom and $1,369 for a two-bedroom [CONFIRM: 2026 two-bedroom dues]. Dues cover the full operation of the resort and its reserves.
What's the difference between White and Red season?
White season covers weeks 1-8 of the year, and Red season covers weeks 9-52.
What does every-other-year ownership mean?
A week at the resort every second year, rather than every year. Every-other-year owners are billed half the yearly dues each year.
How far ahead can I reserve my week?
Up to 11 months ahead. Weeks float within your season, so you choose your dates each year.
Can I trade my week for another destination?
Yes. Owners can exchange through RCI, Interval International or Trading Places for stays at other resorts.
Can I stay extra nights beyond my week?
Yes, as bonus time when suites are available, currently $150 a night for a one-bedroom and $165 for a two-bedroom. Rates vary with demand.
What happens if I can't use my week?
Tell the front desk as early as possible. The resort can rent your week: the association keeps 20% of the rental income plus cleaning fees, and the rest goes to you.
How do I buy a week?
Through the resort's resale list, the annual auction, or a licensed resale broker. See how buying in works →
Who can bid in the annual auction?
Anyone. No deposit is required, and minimum bids are listed on the auction form.
How do I sell my week later?
Add it to the resort's resale list by completing a Resale Authorization form, or list it with a licensed resale broker.
Which suites are available?
Sixteen one- and two-bedroom suites, from about 840 to 1,740 square feet, including flats, townhouses and penthouses. One suite is ADA-compliant. See all suites →
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. A lock box is available for late arrivals.
